Listed below are the materials used for barcode label printing.
Standard White Matte – This has the texture similar to a sheet of paper. These are your most basic barcode labels. While these labels are cheap and inexpensive they are also the least durable. These are paper-based labels.
Standard White Gloss – These labels have a glossy finish on a white label. These are 5x more durable than our standard white matte labels. We use a specialized toner and heating element which heats up to a specific temperature to etch the toner into the label material. These are paper-based labels.
Weatherproof White Polyester (Semi-Gloss) – This label material is our customers absolute #1 favorite material and our favorite material as well. We use a specialized toner and heating element which heats up to a specific tempterature to etch the toner into the label material. These are the toughest and most versatile labels that we offer. They are weatherproof(can be used in high humidity or outdoors), waterproof, heat resistant, tear-proof, smudge-proof, resists scratches and repels water. This label material also adheres to metal, plastic, glass and more. This is a polyester-based material. Customers who demand the highest quality, longevity and durability should use this label. There is no material or printing technique that will outperform these labels. We also HIGHLY recommend these labels for refrigerated products.
